When launching your career, as a stylist, one of the top things to consider is the invaluable knowledge that you will learn behind the chair by experienced professionals, who will NOT look at you as competition, but actually teach you all the things you probably weren't taught in school!  We will train our assistants to be the best of the best and make sure you not only learn these skills but then apply them to your daily salon life!

Another great way to build your career is to get to know all of the Salon's clients, products, and front desk systems. Salon Milage has cutting edge technology to make the shop run smoothly and making scheduling appointments simple and convenient. Responsibilities for this position will also include front desk duties, such as checking in/out guests, entering product formulations, and selling retail products.  Experience with Booker is a huge plus!

Compensation? We will pay you hourly plus tips! This is a full time position to learn in an experienced shop, and no we don't just mean shampooing and sweeping all day. On top of the behind the scenes access to all of our services, we will train you to be a full time stylist as well so once you are fully trained and ready we will be able to give you a stylist position for you to be able to comfortably offer all of the services we provide. With our Assisting program we have a structured plan in order to give you all the knowledge to be a certified stylist with the skills to back it up! • At Salon Milage, we are currently seeking PASSION that will compliment our diverse team. We are willing to train the right candidate and help build your business from the ground up. An example, is a stylist that demonstrates the ability to learn, outgoing/friendly personality, and an ability to perform multi tasks of the business, including front desk responsibilities and product sales.
• A clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. Along with this a desire to improve.
• Identify services that you would like to build your career upon and self knowledge of what makes you the most productive.
• Being a team player and the ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
