We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Salon Assistant/Housekeeper to join our team at Lola Hair Studio. As a Salon Assistant/Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining cleanliness throughout the salon, assisting with general salon tasks, and ensuring that our clients have a positive experience during their visit.

Maintain cleanliness: Keep the salon clean and tidy by performing regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.

Sanitization: Ensure all areas, equipment, and tools are properly sanitized according to salon standards and industry regulations.

Stock management: Monitor and replenish salon supplies, such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products, as needed.

Laundry duties: Collect, wash, dry, and fold salon towels and linens, ensuring an adequate supply is available for daily salon operations.

Organization: Assist in maintaining an organized and clutter-free salon environment by arranging supplies, products, and equipment in their designated areas.

Trash disposal: Regularly empty and replace trash bags in designated receptacles, ensuring all waste is properly disposed of and recycling guidelines are followed.

Assistance to staff: Provide support to stylists, receptionists, and other salon staff by assisting with various tasks, including customer service, laundry, product inventory, and salon setups.

Client satisfaction: Ensure a positive experience for our clients by maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere, offering assistance when needed, and promptly addressing any concerns or requests.

Adherence to safety standards: Follow salon safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment for both staff and clients.

Other duties: Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the salon manager or senior staff members.

Previous experience: Prior experience in a similar role, such as housekeeping, janitorial services, or salon assistance, is preferred but not mandatory.

Attention to detail: Ability to pay close attention to cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards.

Physical stamina: Capable of performing physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving salon equipment or supplies.

Time management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and complete assignments within given time frames.

Team player: Willingness to work collaboratively with salon staff, supporting their needs and maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

Customer service skills: Friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent customer service to salon clients.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate salon scheduling needs.
