The admissions coordinator position is an ideal opportunity for the sales professional that needs more significance in his/her sales career. This position provides an opportunity to help others achieve their goals and change their lives through education opportunities while you are meeting your professional, financial, and personal goals. The position can be detailed in three areas:
1. Telephone work (60%): The company provides you with inquiries through advertising efforts. You need to call inquiries to qualify them and set appointments. Also, you will need to follow up on older leads that have not been through the admissions process.
2. Interviewing (30%): Each candidate for admission must be personally interviewed in person and presented the benefits of an education.
3. Application paperwork and follow-up (10%): Once a successful presentation is conducted, the coordinator must complete application paperwork for the candidate and follow-up with the candidate through the entire enrollment completion process up to and including active attendance in school. Recruiting students for our institution requires a customer-focused attitude and an ability to meet challenges head-on because you would be servicing people who are transitioning their lives.
Requirements for the position include:
· Industry experience is not required but preferred.
· Sales experience - Individuals with call center, beauty salon, recruitment or financial services will be given additional consideration.
- Electric telephone personality!
· Dynamic people skills.
· Professional image is a must!
· The ability to work a flexible schedule, as two evenings per week is required.
· Possess excellent verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport with a diverse customer base.
