Job Description
Overview
This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and a passion for enhancing the well-being and confidence of patients through aesthetic treatments. The Aesthetic Nurse will work closely with patients to assess their needs, administer treatments, and ensure a safe and comfortable experience.
This will start as a part-time position. We will be open to transitioning to a full-time position 3 months after start date. At that point we will open our full benefits package including 8 weeks off per year and medical/dental/optical benefits. Part time will be eligible for free treatments in house immediately.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate aesthetic treatments.
- Administer injectable treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform IV insertions and manage patient care during procedures.
- Utilize energy based treatments to provide services such as laser hair removal, RF microneedling and mermaid facials.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
- Provide pre-and post-treatment education to patients regarding procedures, potential side effects, and aftercare.
- Assist in triaging patients and managing their concerns effectively.
- Stay updated on the latest aesthetic techniques, products, and best practices through ongoing education.
Skills
- Strong background in patient care with a focus on aesthetics.
- Proficiency in IV insertion techniques and familiarity with medical-surgical practices.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
- Understanding of behavioral health principles to provide holistic care to patients.
- 3 years of experience with energy based devices is preferred.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
