Responsibilities

• Assist licensed stylists with various salon services, including haircuts, coloring, and styling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, ensuring all tools and products are properly stocked and sanitized.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly and addressing their needs throughout their visit.
• Support retail sales efforts by promoting products and assisting clients in making informed purchasing decisions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Learn and apply phone etiquette when scheduling appointments or answering client inquiries.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in supervising tasks within the salon environment.

Requirements

• Must possess an active cosmetology license.
• At least 2 years of customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is a plus.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn about hair care products and services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
