We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair and beauty services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts, styling, and coloring services for clients according to their preferences and trends.
• Provide additional beauty services such as makeup application, nail care, eyelash extensions, and hair threading.
• Utilize straight razors for precise cuts and styles as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon area.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
• Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client experience.
• Use salon software (such as MINDBODY) for appointment scheduling, client management, and transaction processing.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and beauty treatments to provide informed recommendations.

Skills

• Proficiency in barbering techniques and hair styling.
• Experience with makeup application, nail care, eyelash extensions, and hair threading is a plus.
• Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY for efficient operations.
• Strong retail sales skills to effectively promote products and services.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $17.00 - $33.48 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
