Calma Salon is seeking (2) talented and passionate Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in beauty and personal care services, including experience in traditional cosmetology practices. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of cosmetology. Our Salon manager is highly skilled and looks forward to helping our staff excel.

Duties

• Perform a variety of beauty services including haircuts, styling, coloring, and makeup application.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, workstations, and treatment areas to ensure a safe environment for clients.
• Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments.
• Engage in sales activities by promoting products and services to clients to enhance their overall experience.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in cosmetology, barbering, and other relevant fields to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

• Valid RI cosmetology license.
• Background in makeup application techniques and knowledge of current beauty trends.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for maintaining client records and appointment schedules.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
