Stylist Position at Shan Hair – Curly Hair Specialists on the Boston/Brookline LineShan Hair is a highly respected salon located on the Boston/Brookline border, specializing in curly hair while welcoming all hair types and textures. We are a small, vibrant, and inclusive team led by Shan Casey, a master stylist with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled stylist to build a strong clientele quickly in a warm, supportive, and professional environment. With a loyal client base and excellent reputation, Shan Hair offers the ideal space to grow your career. Shan is booked out a full 8 months in advance, and our other stylist is also booking out months ahead—there is tremendous potential to build your clientele immediately.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert hair services including cuts, color, and styling customized to each client.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations.
- Stay up to date with the latest techniques and trends.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to foster lasting client relationships.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
What We're Looking For
- A licensed stylist with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong skills in cutting, coloring, and various styling techniques.
- A deep interest in or love for working with curly hair—we specialize in this beautiful natural texture!
- Passionate, creative, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A team player with a positive and professional attitude.
