Duties
- Perform eyelash extension applications with precision and care, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend appropriate styles and lengths.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Utilize salon software, Vagaro, for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments.
- Advertise work and salon on social media platforms, understanding that you are in charge of building your own regular clientele.
- Upsell additional services or products that complement eyelash extensions, enhancing the overall client experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment that prioritizes hospitality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Eyelash Specialist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Familiarity with salon software (Vagaro) is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of body waxing, color theory, tattooing, or skin care treatments is a plus.
- Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- A passion for beauty and aesthetics, along with a commitment to continuous learning in the field.
- Must possess relevant certifications or licenses (Massachusetts Esthetics/Cosmetology License) as required by state regulations for eyelash application services.
