Front Desk Spa Receptionist

Meraki Spa – Newburyport, MA

Meraki Spa is looking for highly motivated part-time receptionists to join our growing team! We are a busy spa located in a prime, high demographic location. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 9:30 – 7; Saturday 9:00 – 6:00; Sunday 10:00 – 5. Schedules are flexible.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival
  • Check clients in and out for their scheduled service
  • Maintain cash register through proper open and close procedures, and communicate any discrepancies to management
  • Answer phone calls
  • Schedule new appointments and maintain client profiles
  • Explain services and retail products
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front area
  • Be comfortable occasionally working alone

Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidates must be friendly, outgoing, and passionate about the beauty industry
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Must have retail sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent phone presence and communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and can work well under pressure in a fast pace environment
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Team oriented mentality
  • Working knowledge or ability to learn point of sale booking system and Microsoft Excel
