About the salon:Sunny Bunny offers an intimate experience that pampers you with an inviting atmosphere that is unique from your traditional salon setting. Along with hair services, we offer wellness rituals; one being reiki.
We vibe well with individuals interested in personal well-being who want to reflect their unique style with their hair.
We are a gratuity-free salon. All of our services are hourly-based pricing. All appointments are 1:1 (no double booking). All appointments are genderless.
Every service includes: a wellness modality, scalp massage, hot towel infused with essential oil, and a beverage.
A small percentage of our monthly profits are donated to Women's Health Services located in Brookline, MA. We believe that finding a local organization that supports reproductive rights is the best way to start making a small impact.
About the job:
A stylist at Sunny Bunny has freedom with responsibility. You make your schedule and hourly price point (which you can increase/adjust) at any time. Your clients are yours. NO DRESS CODE.
We operate on the hourly pricing model. This approach offers transparency to our clients and flexibility for our stylists.
We station share. That means no one owns a station. All back bar, styling products, and color are provided. All of our booking is automated through Aura Software.
Responsibilities:
All hairstylists are responsible for:
- Building + maintaining clientele.
- Maintaining positive + good communication with clients, self-promotion through social media and other mediums.
- Maintaining schedule (booking, canceling, rescheduling clients).
- Adding items to inventory list, accepting deliveries, putting orders away, breaking down boxes.
- Putting away laundry, sweeping hair, cleaning + wiping down station after usage, garbage/recycling, opening + closing.
- Salon participation with the team, attending salon meetings as well as our monthly 1:1 coaching sessions.
