Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our friendly team in our brand new salon in the heart of Medfield, MA.

We are looking for hairdressers with or without clientele. Students in beauty school are welcome, as we provide training. We offer hourly pay until commission requirements are reached, flexible scheduling, and a loyal clientele base.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
• Utilize salon software HAIRMAX for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and handling retail sales.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
• Promote additional services through effective upselling techniques while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair care, styling techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon atmosphere.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with strong skills in cutting, coloring, and styling hair.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong retail sales skills with experience in upselling beauty products or services.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
