Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Perform hair threading and other specialized techniques as requested by clients.
• Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes.
• Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in hair styling, with skills in hair threading being a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Experience in retail sales is an advantage, particularly in upselling products.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.74 - $20.82 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
