Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
• Sanitize tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate styles or treatments.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and techniques through continuous education.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Assist in store management tasks including inventory management and retail sales of hair care products.
• Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with services provided.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in barbering techniques, hair extensions application, and color theory is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with salon software systems and retail math is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
• A valid cosmetology license is required.
