We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your expertise in hairstyling, along with your ability to communicate effectively with clients, will ensure that they leave feeling confident and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, multi dimensional Color services, bridal and prom up-styles are a plus!
• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences.
• Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
• Assist at the front desk with scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling retail sales.
• Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and customer service best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to offer clients the latest styles.
• Effectively communicate with clients regarding their desired looks and provide professional recommendations.

Experience

• Valid cosmetology license is required.
• Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong skills in upselling products and services as well as retail knowledge.
• Experience in foiling, balayage, multi dimensional color and up styles is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
