Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each client leaves feeling their best. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while also contributing to the overall atmosphere of our salon.

Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
• Utilize hair threading techniques as requested by clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
• Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries using salon software like MINDBODY.
• Provide makeup application services when requested, enhancing the overall client experience.
• Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend products for retail sale.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new staff on best practices in hair styling and customer service.
• Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.

Skills

• Proficient in hair styling techniques with a strong understanding of current trends.
• Experience with hair threading and makeup application is preferred.
• Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY to manage appointments efficiently.
• Strong sanitation practices to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Basic understanding of retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to mentor others, sharing knowledge and skills to foster growth within the team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,515.00 - $72,435.00 per year
