Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair and beauty services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will utilize your creativity and expertise in various styling techniques to meet the diverse needs of our clientele while maintaining a welcoming and professional salon environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere and assist in the implementation of Company policies, procedures and employee/client safety.
• Actively pursue continued professional development through continued education and training.
• Provide a higher standard of customer service to both internal and external customers with the utmost above and beyond cordial approach, as per Company policies and procedures and in compliance with all State Board Hygiene Rules and Regulations.
• Communicate any stylist/client conflict to salon management personnel.
• Effectively provide client hairstyling services, support stylists with guest services as deemed necessary, including but not limited to shampooing, cleaning, sweeping, maintaining laundry, salon image and compliance of State Board Hygiene Rules & Regulations.
• Maintain good attendance ratings, and all performance review evaluations.
• Maintain workstations in clean and clutter free manner as set forth by Company policy.
• Knowledge of all retail products, services and salon marketing promotions.
• Interact and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times with guests and Dellaria staff at all times.
• Plus, any other duties deemed necessary by the Company.

Specific Job Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written English language communication. (other language fluency a plus)
• Strong customer service skills and possess the ability to perform guest services, exceeding expectations.
• Ability to be a team player and project a positive "yes can do" approach.
• Desire to learn and advance one's technical skills, and maintain the proper equipment required to perform job.
• Perform hair styling services, and up-sell chemical services to salon's technically trained stylists.
• Possess strong work ethic with the ability to multitask in a demanding fast paced environment.
• Project a professional and fashion forward image and grooming standards, in line with Company's expectations in the beauty industry.
• Meet schedule requirements by working the hours and days the salon is open - days/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Stand the majority of the workday.
• May have to lift product boxes of up to 30 pounds.
• May have to work on computer for lengthy periods of time.
• Work with chemicals consistently used in salons.
