Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Description

Bella Vita Salon and Day Spa is an upscale, busy salon and day spa, established in 1979. We are looking for candidates that are hard-working, dependable, happy, and have great interpersonal skills. Must be licensed in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient service by listening to clients' concerns and tailoring massage treatments to address their individual needs.
• Administer various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
• Apply anatomy knowledge to target specific muscle groups and provide relief from acute pain.
• Utilize physiology knowledge to understand the body's response to massage therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Assist in pain management by developing personalized treatment plans and providing ongoing support and education to clients.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist.
• Proven experience in performing various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
