Job OverviewWe are seeking an organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist at Shear Creations Full Service Hair salon to join our team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth operations at our front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a welcoming demeanor, making them the first point of contact for our clients and visitors.
Job Responsibilities
- Must be punctual
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls/make outgoing calls, and provide information as needed
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
- Process payments
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times
- Assist with light cleaning (i.e., dusting shelves/keeping up with laundry)
- Handle customer support with patience and professionalism
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a somewhat fast-paced environment
- A friendly personality and excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate verbally
- Basic computer skills (will train for specific booking program)
- Pleasant phone manner and ability to pay attention to detail
- Has dependable transportation
- Pay is TBD
Availability
- 2 Mornings (Monday & Thursday 9am-3pm)
- 1 Night (Tuesday 3pm-8pm)
- Available to cover other shifts if needed
