Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair threading.
• Utilize knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable hair colors and techniques for clients.
• Sanitize tools and workstations to maintain a safe and hygienic salon environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
• Use salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling hair care products that enhance client satisfaction.
• Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive beauty experience for clients.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling to deliver high-quality services.

Experience and Skills

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their preferences.
• Experience in retail sales is a plus, with the ability to upsell products confidently.
• Proficiency in hair threading techniques and straight razor usage is desirable.
• A solid understanding of color theory to assist clients in making informed decisions about their hair color.
