Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Salon Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn and grow within a salon environment. You will participate in our Associate Training Program taught by the Salon owner, Matt Carlson (check out his Instagram @mattcarlsonhair). He is internationally trained and skilled in: Balayage, foil work, lived-in color, scissor/razor cutting and certified in hair extensions. Come join our team. Learn from the best. Duties

• Assist stylists with various tasks to ensure smooth salon operations
• Perform shampooing, conditioning treatments, and blow-drying services
• Help maintain salon cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Greet clients and provide excellent customer service
• Assist with retail sales and inventory management
• Learn advanced skills in color work, cutting techniques and hair extensions
• Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client information

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts cosmetology license or enrollment in a cosmetology school for our internship program
• Must be dependable and customer-oriented
• Ability to use salon software for scheduling and client management
• Understanding of sanitation practices
• Willingness to learn and be mentored by senior stylists
