Prettyology, a premier permanent makeup medspa and academy, is seeking an energic, positive -minded, full-time Operations Manager with strong sales and marketing skills to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Peabody Beauty Lab and PMU Training Academy. This position requires an understanding of client relations and client services, managing staff scheduling and administrative training, and managing/ordering inventory and supplies.

An interest in the beauty industry is desirable, but please note, this administrative position will not lead to a position as a service provider.

This full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend events.

Qualifications:

  • 2-years + client service experience required, appointment booking experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, in person
  • Energetic, warm, reassuring, compassionate demeanor
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to relay instructions clearly via email/phone
  • Ability to book clients/ models with strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, Excel, Word, Google Sheets
  • Ability to adapt to new software easily
  • Experience with Vagaro, Kajabi, Shopify - a plus
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Team oriented
  • Organized

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring exceptional client services and satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory control and purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Handle cash register operations and financial transactions accurately.
  • Utilize computer skills for reporting and scheduling.
  • Implement marketing strategies to enhance retail sales and salon visibility.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and team members to address needs and concerns.
  • Conduct "Discovery" sales calls with potential academy students.
  • Register academy students into specific pmu courses.
  • Assist in managing pmu apprenticeships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
